Record number of participants at this year's Users' Meeting

UPPSALA, SWEDEN, MAY 07, 2018. THE PURPOSE OF SCANDINOVA’S USER MEETINGS IS TO CREATE THE MARKET’S LEADING INTERACTIVE FORUM WITHIN PULSED POWER SYSTEMS. THIS GOAL IS WELL ON ITS WAY TO BEING MET.

During April 25 to 27 at the Marriott Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, close to 50 users (20 companies and organizations) gathered to share experiences and hear the latest news from ScandiNova. Many were from the Bay Area itself, but a considerable number also came from Europe and Asia.

In attendance were customers within research, radiotherapy and industrial applications, many of whom are leaders in their respective fields. This mix of different application areas is what makes ScandiNova’s User Meetings unique, and one of the reasons for the great interest.

Ten customers and partners reported on their experiences with ScandiNova’s modulators, while ScandiNova presented its latest news such as turnkey RF systems, the recently launched e-gun modulator, control system upgrades, and support / service offerings.

The event also included highly-appreciated guided tours of the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, operated by Stanford University on behalf of the US Department of Energy, and CPI’s Microwave Power Products Division.

ScandiNova is already looking forward to the 2019 conference that will take place in Tokyo, where the company recently opened the head office of its newly established Japanese subsidiary!
