To celebrate the inauguration of its new Japanese subsidiary (ScandiNova Systems K.K.), as well as its new Tokyo office, ScandiNova, a world-leader in new-generation pulsed-power systems, hosted a launch ceremony at the Swedish Embassy on 14th June 2018. The event, organized in cooperation with Business Sweden in Japan, created great interest. About 60 representatives from leading research institutes, industrial users and partners attended.
The event program featured presentations about ScandiNova in Japan as well as the company’s history, current situation and business outlook. Ms. Cecilia Leiram, Trade Commissioner at Business Sweden, Japan, held a much-appreciated presentation about business relations between Japan and Sweden, and also highlighted that the countries this year celebrate 150 years of diplomatic liaison! Mr. Naohito Saito, Director, J-PARC Center, also held an insightful presentation from a customer perspective.
