All ScandiNova pulse modulators and pulse generators are equipped with a user-friendly and modern control system for calibration, diagnostics and adjustments. The system offers a wide range of different shape modifications. Amplitude, pulse width and frequency can easily be changed and visualized on the user friendly GUI. The system also provides an overview of status for key functionality/components, Trig, Interlocks and Real-time event log. With EtherCAT remote control (option) it is also possible to set different voltage levels for each individual pulse.

The control system for the Magnetron modulators (M-series) is operated by a PC interface.

The M060 is our most compact modulator, designed for customers who need to drive low-power magnetrons in volume-restricted environments. It handles magnetrons in the 0.2 MW to 2 MW range and simplifies system design, as it requires only air cooling. This modulator delivers outstanding performance, easy integration, and the smallest available footprint—meeting even the most demanding packaging requirements of system integrators

  • Reliable modular design provides an exceptionally high level of operator and technician safety, thanks to low primary voltage levels. These low voltages also eliminate most component failures by reducing thermal and electrical stress.
  • Lower cost of ownership through high electrical efficiency, the elimination of expensive consumables requiring regular maintenance, and fewer unscheduled stops. The high efficiency also reduces cooling costs to roughly half that of a line-type pulse forming network modulator.
  • Precise pulse control allows users to optimize performance from their transmitter systems by adjusting pulse shape and amplitude. Both peak and average power delivery can be modified over time to meet evolving system requirements.
  • Comprehensive digital interfaces support system parameter adjustments and enable operating data to be communicated to the customer, simplifying system setup, performance monitoring, and data archiving.
