Uppsala, Sweden, March 17, 2021, ScandiNova Systems AB, a world-leader in new-generation pulsed-power systems today announced that Helena Åsbrink has been appointed new Chief Operation Officer, beginning May 2021. Helena will report directly to Fredrik Mella, CEO, and be part of the Executive Management Team.

At ScandiNova, Helena will direct all operation departments including supply chain, planning, engineering, project management, manufacturing, and testing. Her focus will be on continuing to build an efficient and modern production business that meets the company’s rapid expansion.
Prior to joining ScandiNova, Helena has served as Head of Operations at Galderma, an international leading player in Dermatology with about 7,000 employees worldwide, where she has been responsible for leading the company’s industrialization and capacity expansion within one of the three business areas.
Helena brings more than 20 years of experience from management positions in the Medtech industry, in areas such as Industrial engineering, Production, Lean, and Change Management. Her track record includes roles as VP Global Operations and Director Production for Immuno Diagnostics at Thermo Fischer and Director Engineering at Phadia.
Helena earned her Master of Science in Industrial engineering and ergonomics from Luleå University of Technology.
