This year, the participants also had the privilege to get interesting insights into the development in the Japanese research market and were invited to a much appreciated guided tour at KEK – one of the world’s leading accelerator science research laboratories, using high-energy particle beams and synchrotron light sources to probe the fundamental properties of matter.

In addition to a narrow review of each product family, ScandiNova presented its new e-gun modulator, a new power supply, control system updates, client customized systems and the offering within complete RF systems.

The packed schedule also included the opportunity to socialize, a guided bus tour through Tokyo and a visit to the Tokyo Skytree tower. The conference was concluded with training that touched upon each product segment.

The next Users Meeting will take place in Paris, 6-8 May 2020.
